Introduction
This web page has been created to give Hayling Island residents information on the proposed development north of Goldring Close and South of Beech Grove.
Current proposals include the construction of over 130 dwellings, with potentially an extra 300 cars gaining access via Beech Grove although access via Goldring Close is also an option.

We now have over 4,000 sigantures on the SaveHayling petition from Hayling Island residents. Thank you everyone for your support.
Are you free on Monday 31 October 11?
If so, please meet at Havant Bus Station before 11.30am to walk to the HBC offices.
The Residents Association, together with the Hayling Island Community Board, will formally submit the Petition to Havant Borough Council on 31st October at the Public Service Plaza (Civic Centre) at 12 noon. There will also be a large group of supporters assembling at Havant Bus Station before proceeding to the Plaza.

We now have over 3,600 sigantures from Hayling Residents and we are hoping to reach 4,000 by the middle of October.
12 September 11
We now have over 3,400 sigantures from Hayling Residents covering 200 of the 2008 roads on the Island. We are hoping for over 5,000 sigantures now though that may be a hard target to reach. Please follow @SaveHayling on Twitter for the latest updates.

15 March 11 - 7:30pm Community Centre
A Public Meeting will be held at 7:30pm in the Community Centre, West Town to describe the development proposals and obtain residents opinions.
The meeting is designed to cover all of the greenfield sites being considered for development on the Island and for developing the campaign in opposition to the Council’s policy.

Jeremy Higgins of Pro Vision Planning and Design gave a presentation to the HICB on the proposed development to the north of Goldring Close and south of Beech Grove. He answered many questions from the meeting that was packed with 150 residents.
