This project costing £500,000 involves a major face-lift to the sea front site and is still in progress.

Leisure Trail Car Park

The £35,000 cost of installing and tidying up the car park opposite the Texaco Garage was a Strategic Project.

Hayling Football Club Pitch Lighting

A £5,000 contribution was made by the HICB towards the cost of this project at The Hayling College.

Skateboard Park

Just over £40,000 towards the cost of this new facility for skateboarders came from the Livability Project.

Beachlands Trim Trail

Local doctors supported this environmental way of simultaneously keeping fit and enjoying Beachlands, which was funded to the tune of £5,000 by the HICB.

North Hayling Circular Walk

A £10,000 contribution to this project was made by the HICB.

North Hayling Community Hall Car Park

Many people with disabilities use the hall and the £3,000 contribution from the HICB made the car park more user-friendly for wheelchairs.

Hayling Park Lighting of Multi-use Games Area

Lighting of Multi-Use Games Area, £7,430. Youngsters will now be able to make greater use of this facility, with street-lighting columns and a time switch.

Mengham Sports Centre CCTV

The HICB contributed £5,000 towards the cost of the system. Funding also came from the Fire Service, Police and Havant Borough Council Community Focus Group.

Common Signage

Common "Welcome" signage has been agreed and is now in place throughout the Borough.
