Mission


The mission of the HICB is: To improve the quality of life for Hayling’s residents

Our Functions:

  • To represent the Island’s interests at the Havant Community Partnership
  • To bring together the Island’s interest groups for common purpose
  • To monitor provision and performance of local services and facilities
  • To spotlight matters causing Hayling residents concern
  • To respond to planning applications affecting Hayling Island generally
  • To interact with Havant Community Partnership (HCP), Havant Borough Council (HBC) and Hampshire County Council (HCC) and local agencies to achieve improvements
  • To keep Hayling Islanders informed
