Halifax / HBOS Demutualisation Experience and Dispute

Introduction

This site will provide a chronological sequence of events of the process I followed to gain my demutualisation shares and the impediments I experienced from the then Halifax Building Society. I will leave the reader to draw their own conclusion on whether or not Halifax plc treated my share application fairly.

Each section number on the left will contain full details of letters and telephone calls between myself and the Halifax.

There is a page on complaints upheld against HBOS plc and Halifax plc here.

I invite the Halifax to submit any material they would like me to include on this site. In the mean time, please review the press pages which I will now start updating from November 2006.

Before I close, I need to draw your attention to UNHAV, so please click on this link.

Finally, I would like to thank you for coming to this site, and reading my story which will unfold over time.

Once you have been through this site, please visit Redoak if you like technology and gadgets.

I would also like to report that I am not pleased with the way HBOS have handled the Farepack collapse.

All I ask is that when you purchase or consider purchasing products or services from the HBOS Group, ask yourself, are you making the right decision?

Finally, I am compiling a list of all the addresses of all directors within the HBOS Group and they will be here. You may use these details to address letters direct.

Thank you.

John
